I didn’t say anything about the pay rate. There are multiple reasons why Medicare is much easier to deal with for billing (no pre-auth, appeals). You are making things up to discredit single payer. I do this for a living. Almost no doctors do their own billing.

I work in Medical billing. Medicare and Medicaid billing paperwork is not nearly as time consuming and arbitrary as private insurance. Stay in your lane. Being rich doesn't make you an expert on everything.
