And weirdly focused on some YouTuber named Hasan Piker as well as trying to convince his tiny little follower universe that the No Kings event was an absolute bust. Citing YouTube videos as evidence that “nobody showed up” (wrong). His renowned expertise seems to be mostly in self-delusion.

Squeaker Mikey lies like the rest of us breathe. Watching Squeaker Mikey being interviewed the other day was like watching a golem: dead eyes, expressionless face - like someone who sold his soul for cheap and knows it. At some point he’ll just melt like a Nazi in Raiders of the Lost Ark.

When I was in grad school, I had lots of Iranian engineers in the classes I taught. From them I learned we in the US had lots more in common with the ethnic Persian population of Iran (and with the Turks) than we had in common with any of the Arab gulf states.
