Somewhat side project. I found this end table in the hallway. Did a rough sand and “paint”with sumo ink. Then will epoxy. On the top I’m doing a wood block variation of Sascha Schneiders “Hypnosis” using vintage male erotic models.

I forgot I didn’t share this version of one.
I’m in love with this, but going with the more minimalist version. I gave this one a more Japanese aesthetic and wanted the two to be more statue like, thus making the base look like a boulder.

So I took the leftover mashed potatoes last night. I mixed in 4 eggs ham cheese chili crisp sage and garlic from the dish I made last night (Milk Braised Chicken),s&p, corn flower. Pressed into “smashburger” patties and freeze them to set.
Later, pan fry them (nmmmm

The two models are regulars for our Gay Men’s Art Group.I’m printing two on heavy stock for them and about 20-30 for the group. Rarely have I taken a photo and from the group and done this, but it was such a great pose. Some fine tuning before final print.

Friend of mines service pup passed Friday. He was a veteran I got to know on my last ayahuasca retreat and we stayed in contact since. He loves the print. Him and his wife cried and he said he’s gonna use it for his first tattoo.
