this is why I'm so peeved whenever ppl say "this is the worst it'll ever be and it'll only keep getting better"
sure it'll get technically better at regurgitating existing ideas that show up enough its dataset.
but AI will fundamentally *never* get good at coming up with new, original ideas.

I don't fucking care if all the AI stuff is early placeholders and none of it is directly in the end product. AI is fundamentally incapable of novel ideas and thinking outside the box. games as an artform will remain stagnant if AI is used for something as foundational as concept art.
