I'm sure there's good, workable suggestions in this thread. The power of multitudes of small well directed personal decisions added up could be powerful over time.

Odds are we are never going to see the ballroom started let alone built in the remaining years of Trump. Not the years of his second term, but his lifetime.

Trump is using the military paid for by the bottom half of American earners to threaten and ultimately shake down Maduro... for Trump's benefit!! Unbelievable! How far the US has fallen. Meanwhile, Trump pardons a guy who smuggled 400 tons of cocaine. Unbelievable.

Sometimes I wonder what it is about hardware that attracts such people. smh

I will just add that I'm in full agreement with the general idea, especially if one has options and supporting local small business. And artisans online or brick and mortar. Lots of good ideas here.

I can order off MAGA Amazon, go to my local MAGA Home Depot, or go to my local independently owned MAGA hardware store. The point being supporting the opposition is not always possible. Our best and non-violent option is to protest publicly to educate and to vote.

Speaking of money laundering, that's cryptocurrency territory. Imagine if our president were involved.

Um... wait.

Good news, though. Melania's crypto is crashing.

I've been following Robert Reich' since the 1980s starting on PBS and this might be his most important topic ever. How does one move this idea onto states' ballot?

One commander resigned. Maybe he will have a role. Many retired military are unhappy with the way things are. Republican elected officials can prevent this if they will just act their oaths.

I don't think trying to help a fugitive escape justice is an official presidential act.

Only fencing off plants has worked for me. Granted, in my situation deer have access to lots of alternative food, but a fence about 3' high works.... usually. If the plants are especially desirous, they will jump over provided there is room inside for them to land.

The American public has a devastating disconnect with reality.

It's as if our elected reps were speaking directly about this illegal order.

I'm still waiting for reporters to know that every piece of construction equipment is not a "bulldozer" and "guardrail" is actually guiderail.

Tragic killing/shooting of two public servants doing as instructed by someone who drove across the country to do it demands a thorough answer as to why. Particularly so when he had to know the backlash Trump would bring upon others close to him or who even superficially resemble him. Unfathomable.

Strike out "doesn't."

A reaction expected.
A strongly worded letter lays the groundwork for strongly presented legal accountability, unless repeatedly attacking the rule of law pathway doesn't result in Democrats staying home on election day. Are claims of milquetoast response purposeful subterfuge?

Joe doesn't give a f, he's about the money in it for him. Too many others like him.

Whether or not one likes DST depends in part on which side of a time zone one resides, what one's work schedule is, one's entertainment time, etc. Personally to me it's all a wash, a fact of life, an unresolvable consequence that the length of day varies.

This ruling will end up at the Supreme Court, as the clock to 2026 continues to run. Other states should not abandon their plans to counter this as we move forward.

Add the War on Hunting and Fishing to the War on Christmas. I just can't bring myself to open an article from The Hill. Spoiler needed.

They might all be at my house. We've researched and installed about seven nesting boxes over the past four or five years. Sometimes they'll inspect the houses without moving in. Other times they'll use them in cold weather, building a half inch pad made from ragweed fluff and huddling together.
