I don't necessarily have an issue with works playing off the original novel making Carcosa/The King real things or places but I would prefer if they actually did smth more original than just 'OoOoOH scary outer god'

Huge tails, really sharp claws and fangs. Not sure why I like the first so much, but the latter two just evoke a lot of danger and risk that I find very appealing...
