Frye and Shiver were trapped on a sinking ship, and seeing that Shiver already starting to drown Frye continued without her. Shiver tried to follow, but quickly sank with her lungs full of water, her last moments spent watching as Frye continued her own desperate swim for the surface.

Loona goes for a cave dive, but quickly finds herself lost in the maze of similar looking rocks and jagged spikes. Moving carefully through the sharp obstacles wastes time and air that she doesn't have a lot of. She's no stranger to dangerous situations, but this might push her past her limits...

Someone had enough of Midna's attitude and chained her up to an iron ball, and tossed it into the deep sea. It's a long way back up and there's no hero around to save her, could this be game over for her?

A dive under the ice goes wrong for Cynder as she ends up lost and unable to find her way back. In pain from the freezing water she eventually drowned, her body beginning to ice over. Anyone who wipes away the snow will see her below, preserved in her final moments...

While Isabelle was trying to water the gardens one early morning, the hose became blocked up. Upon investigating, a slime emerged and jumped on her head! Now it slowly drowns her as she tries to take it off, aware that with everyone else still asleep, she's on her own..

MMO balance patches can be a real pain, especially if you forget to read them before going after an item you were relying on a now-removed racial buff for. Lucky for Twilight she did manage to get the item anyway. Too bad she drowned before she could escape with it...

A routine patrol flight ends in tragedy when Fox is shot down over the ocean. Though his arwing is mostly intact for now, the water pressure is rising and the surface is only getting farther away, turning the craft into a sinking metal coffin.

Underwater caves usually contain some sort of treasure. This one contains a mirror, through which Ankha can see the real treasure, herself, turning blue and in pure ecstasy.

Some say that deep below the sea, there's a ruined temple, and a garden of statues, people frozen in the last moments of their life, somehow turned to stone as they drowned, a fate worse than death. Nobody knows if it's true, as few return to tell the tale.
An underwater landscape filled with plants, rocks, and statues in the shape of people, depicted in pain, terrified and drowning. They are all mostly naked but some wear pieces of clothing like boots, goggles, collars and other jewellery, though all are also made of stone. Although they may just be statues, it can be assumed that somehow, these really are divers who were somehow turned to stone as they drowned. Behind them sits a temple, radiating a sinister glow. Most statues have one hand on their throat and another reaching out, but some have both hands on their throats or a more relaxed, unconscious or dead pose. If these are people petrified into statues, it is unclear if there's anything left of them to save... After successfully sabotaging the enemy base, Rivet became trapped as it began to flood. Diving through the wreckage she searched for an exit, but only found a door blocked by debris. Can she find a real exit before she drowns?

next in the reuploads, officer Flint has gone for a dive on a mission. Whatever that mission was though, it seems to have ended in failure as she became trapped by rocks and plants, and drowned.

she'll have a lot of explaining to do once she's rescued, assuming it's not her corpse they bring back..

Ankha has caught a couple of nosy pups trespassing on her land. Her magic makes them sink in the sand while keeping herself safe, allowing her to enjoy their fate, smothering one when it tries to resist.

Will she spare them at the last moment to teach a lesson? Or will this place be their grave?

Cherry, a dog villager from Animal crossing drowns in an underwater tunnel blocked by bars with sunlight just out of reach. Her flashlight used to navigate is floating on the side as she grasps her throat and bubbles coming out of her mouth. Her expression is of pain and fear and there is a noticeable blue blush forming as air leaves her. She is alive for now but escape and her fate seems uncertain.
