And of course it's worth noting that the Pirates just aren't good in general and weren't ever in any real position to build a contender, not to mention their cheap owner wasn't going to invest in changing that. It didn't really hurt them to pay Cutch and DH him everyday.

I'll have more chances to test it this year... but the CFL's BC Lions have never won a game I've attended.
