The problem IS medical insurance companies. We can survive private providers of care, but it is the burden of how insurance racketeers it's way through medical financial managment that is the problem. A single payer program is the only sane way to move forward.

I don't know much about Ken Martin, & maybe that IS part of the point, but i do agree there is a need to be more media savvy than we've seen so far.
But, "media" isn't all of this. Dems need to talk WITH, not at, people more & most importantly they need to LISTEN.

What i really like about Mamdani is he really seems like a genuine person like every else, not you typical politician prepped with talking points and this clip highlights that very well.

Sen Graham's outrage give me cause to wonder just what ELSE is contained in his phone records? Not just the political, maybe the personal.
I do get that, and would respect him more if he cared about the privacy and safety of others which Sen Graham does not.

Now my in-box is stuffed by txt messages from ActBlue soliciting funds. Not occasionally, more like EVERY day, dozens of them even after extensive blocking. Most for races i know nothing about as they are not my region nor National interest directly.

Special equipment HAS purpose, it's just they are being overused by officers who do not need them. Discrete body armor excepted, everything else should be restricted to use when tactics require it only.

You're right and the fight for just treatment is ongoing but to say that there was no overreach, always vindicated, no excuses, never went too far? That's the way MAGA justifies their actions.

They entire DHS department needs to be dismantled and necessary duties (ONLY) re-distributed to Agencies not yet corrupted by MAGA/GOP Trumpism.
