It's really sad because when I read your comics, I see a really sympathetic portrayal of what the Tau are, what they're trying to do, and how they often fall short of their own ideals but keep to them because those ideals still mean something.

It's one of the few examples of an upgrade kit that directly inspired another company's upgrade kit. The DNA Laser Prime kit is basically a Battle Tanker remake.

"Play feature" is the toy industry term for any kind of addition onto what a toy can do, intended to give more ways to play with it. "Gimmick" is usually used as a somewhat derogatory synonym.

Oh, yeah, by character continuity I mean just general lore and backstory (and as far as I remember, the queen's only made a couple appearances and it's not even particularly clear what she is).

i'm not at all opposed to fanservicey characters in the slightest but man did i not find geiru sexy when i actually played the case. she didn't strike me as sexy so much as trying way too hard to be sexy, which is actually fitting for her but made the reaction to her disheartening nonetheless.

Rewatched the review and yeah it absolutely was. I think I missed it because it wasn't in the collection where you see everyone else's lightpiping.

There are maybe four newspaper comic creators that you could even consider putting over Watterson: Charles Schultz, Alex Raymond, Hal Foster, and Walt Kelly. Even with other top tiers like Berkeley Breathed and Gary Larson, I think most fans will still say Watterson was more skilled.
