I think a major factor behind so many relationships falling apart is because there is a lack of trust that is constantly being put in front of us. Articles in magazines used to suggest a theory; now we have campaigns to vilify total strangers. How can society recover from such manufactured dread?

A conundrum about the concept of #CancelCulture If you cut someone off from a gesture or statement out of context, aren’t you burying your head in your own pile of sand? Weren’t you trying to avoid that result in the first place? Communication is healthier, as is honesty.

In light of all the horrible behavior demonstrated by friends & acquaintances who have shown their ‘true’ selves after ALL these years, I’d hope you choose to live an honest life with someone you truly know, not someone you believe society told you to like. Don’t lie to yourself.

Best advice I can give; split your money into thirds. Spend on bills, keep things tight, save for incidentals big and small. Save off what doesn’t hurt. Zero out the smallest bill until you can take out a large one. Stay focused. Be productive.
