As some of you probably realized already I cast on with the wrong color. I just spent three days cutting off the bottom 6 rows and knitting down to a new picot edge and hem.

I do an exercise when I’m working with a town where I have people trace their housing journey: rented with strangers, rented with friends, moved back home, etc. It reminds them they weren’t always homeowners.

When you get to the barn for the first time in months without your boots and wearing your slippers? You ride in your slippers. And god bless a pony who can be left to his own devices for those same months and be saddled up as though you’d ridden yesterday.
