Those Miss Hawaiian Tropic contests were a big thing in the 80s - if I remember correctly, something like $10k Grand Prize, promise of modeling, some vacations, & a lot of HT tanning oil! Local contests to "advance" toward finals which seemed to be regional (not one national winner.)

Yes, & the House voted to table. I understand (& share) frustration, but to succeed w/support of larger majority of citizens, Articles & case have to be prepared thoroughly & convincingly enough for even most casual of low info voters to see & understand.

For reference, a case has to be prepared & presented, just like a court trial, in order to an impeach. It may seem obvious/easy but just like in court cases, you have to show or prove the charges with evidence & testimony & that has to be gathered under the function of an investigation.
