Oh, don’t get me wrong, I’ve always loved Nile. I knew Chic before DD even, through my older sister. I LOVE disco. I love what Nile brings to DD’s sound. It was more a time of change in my life, coming out of my teen years.

Me too. The last album DD I bought upon release for many years. The band changed and a lot of us fans did too.

The first 7” I ever bought along with Bananarama & Fun Boy Three. I still have both. In NZ the single version was the album version.

The quality of band t-shirts/merch has sadly dropped significantly in the last few years, due to being printed on Gildan. I’m hesitant to wear them because they feel like they will not last.

Yes, love the downbeat 90s melancholy of this album. Midnight Sun is my choice, but it’s a complete album.
