Trying to find the people, dogs, cats, and true crime fans that make this place feel like my community.
For all my social media apps, on my iPhone, I’m going to Settings/General/ iPhone storage, selecting the app, and selecting “offload app” this saves the data, but removes the app from the phone

Get a Blue Ray/ DVD player! Yard sales, estate sales, thrift stores often have movies for $1 or less. We just picked up series for The Office, Friends, and Lost.
Not only are there zero commercials, but there are extras like director’s commentary

My cats were so adorable for the sitter this week! Every photo looked like they had big playful googly eyes. They really love her.
When we got home today our tuxie came running to the door, she seemed genuinely disappointed when it was just us.

My cats will 100% dip their little monkey paws in your drinking water. Especially your nighttime water while you are sleeping

We have brunch so usually quiche and sides.
This year, I’m pondering ordering brunch delivery. Yummmm omelets, hashbrowns, crêpes, French toast and sausages delivered.

When they start asking people to move around to distribute the weight evenly, that plane feels even smaller.
Do you call those flights a “puddle jumper”?

I married into a family that LOVES pie. Every birthday, holiday, celebration of any kind, they serve pie. And it’s always a huge production. I’m not a fan. I think the bottom crust is always weird.
I’m already starting to practice my kind and gracious “no thank you“

About to say something about regretting giving up my old phone… Then realize people are flirting in these comments and I don’t want to interrupt… Then realizing I think these two got married a few weeks ago?
(I didn’t fact check that. Instead, I decided that’s enough Internet for today)

Hey, cut me some slack! I removed a whole shelf of books to make a platform for the cats.

These are careless people. Facebook started as a way to connect friends and family, but ended as a platform that has outsized influence on society.
Oh, governments are doing something all right. They “invest” in connectivity to expand access of Meta products to their citizens. And then leverage the relationship to have Meta suppress content and promote state propaganda.
This book explains how it started 😡

The whole vibe is cheerful, scattered, musical, and respectful of feline consent. While wearing a blazer and dangly earrings.
Totally normal 90s vibes.

Gonzo! I came across a bonkers old 90s video that has a song that I would like to dedicate to you

I inspired myself to listen to it again. It’s SO good. And disheartening.

Exactly my thought! Where did they even find a group of young facebook users to test?

For my birthday and Christmas, I asked for a large Hex-clad skillet and wok. Cooking these dishes is do much more manageable when I don’t have an hour if difficult cleanup afterward. I didn’t realize what a difference that would make.
