I walk around Chinatown often, I was just there to shop Foo Hung Curios at the Chinatown Storytelling Centre which has many great items by local artists. I also stopped at @raincity.games at International Village, and New Town for buns.

I have been posting my Seawall photos from my walks elsewhere this week and people keep commenting “I saw on the news the Seawall is closed!”

To be clear, only a portion is closed, from Prospect Point to Third Beach.

Highlight of the day: Remembering that I got some pina-coco buns from New Town on my walk in Chinatown yesterday and I can have one with my coffee right now 🤩

Never before seen in Canada, it was seen Dec 25 & 26.
It usually spends summer in northern Asia and winters in southern Asia. There’s only been one other recorded sighting of the bird in mainland N. America 20 years ago.

I went for another walk and ended up covering about 15km around Downtown Vancouver / the Seawall when all was said and done.

It was such a good winter day out there.

We went to the immersive “A Christmas Carol” experience at little ol’ Roedde House Museum in the West End tonight.
