Shame about the tunnel lights. Looks like someone has been lighting fires inside. Noice

In rare good news, the river on the Federation Trail has dried up. Not sure if this is simple evaporation or human intervention

How attractive are the Department of Transport's "gardens" at Sneydes Rd and Hoppers Lane Werribee?

These should replenish the seed in the soil for at least the next 200 years 🙄🤦‍♀️

My daily dose of seal 🦭

I'm a bit concerned about the upcoming (human) swimming season. Hope he or she will be ok

Most likely a 🐅🐍 This area has so many of them!
Council has totally dragged its feet on the extension of the shared path to Cherry Lake. I really wish they'd get it funded and built. It would make life here way better.

Going well on the Werribee line. 🤦‍♀️

On the plus side, I'll have a lot of raspberries!

No Level Crossing Removal Authority, I will not be using this lane to turn right near the Maddox Road. #PaintIsNotInfrastructure. 🙄🤦‍♀️

Of course there won't be road rage or cyclists hit.

How good is the Altona coastal park in late spring? 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸

Match your bike to the native flora. Carpobrotus Rossini (pigface) I think.

Plus a wiggle stick

Found a new bridge near Footscray Road
November 6, 2025 at 1:42 AM
Brand new infrastructure and people on bikes still have to beg for a green light 🙄
November 6, 2025 at 1:28 AM
My garden is looking very green and there are lots of flowers.
November 5, 2025 at 7:51 AM
No idea but these are still out on a front fence near me in Melbourne. Perhaps they're not the favourite bounty 🤔

I saw an old guy feeding pigeons and he caught one. It was reported a few days ago that there was 1 entwined in fishing line at the shops. A cafe worker grabbed scissors but we couldn't fix it. I walked it 2 streets to the vet. Poor thing was most likely put down but the pain has ended.

The pigface at the coastal park is starting to look great🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸

The seal wasn't quite as active😴

Made a new friend on today's ride 🐱🐍

So much building damage yesterday west of Melbourne. If you click on the plus signs in the app there are a lot of houses involved (over 100). Some reports of a tornado but not confirmed 🌪 😒 Screenshot:

I'm from ##MelbsWest and I think this is a total blot on the landscape. Encouraging more car use never ends well and this will clog up within a short time. And we still have poor public transport options.

Meanwhile, in Melbourne Australia we're celebrating building huge new roads to move people around in cars. 🤦‍♀️

The highlight of my ride was the tunnel under on the Federation Trail. Now without any lights. 😬😱

Prior to this I had admired the manicured gardens the Department of Transport maintain at Werribee. Yes, there are a lot of thistles
