This makes me want to just get physical media again. I can resubscribe briefly to watch new things, but I am over them constantly raising prices AND adding ads. The greed is astounding. The “but we need money for new shows!” Is bullshit. Pay your CEO less.

I do have some respect for da pope. He is at least showing his own humanity and advocating for those without voices. Unfortunately, he still is the head of a church that systematically hides abuse. (Mormons also do this)

They may have centuries worth of the works of humanity, but that alone should not make them tax free. They should actually have to serve the public community, not just their congregants. If they are not adding to public/community life then tax them.

This is it. I grew up Mormon and that church is the worst. They have over 150 BILLION dollars. They launder money through buildings. They inflate their charitable contributions through member grant work like making members clean their buildings instead of hiring and paying someone to do it…
