My favourite use of the word “felch” is in the comic Books of Magic, where John Constantine says “felching heck” at one point because the editors didn’t want him to say “fucking hell”

The original Books of Magic series, yes (and nothing will convince me that JK Rowling didn’t completely rip it off, as the central character is a bespectacled boy called Tim Hunter who is initiated into the arts of magic and turns his yo-yo into an owl)

Additionally, the writer (Neil Gaiman) is pretty cursed himself these days
