Exactly. I'd love to see their indignation if a waiter who keeps kosher refused to serve them a cheeseburger because dairy and meat should not mix. Then imagine if the government declared meat and dairy shouldn't mix... Or if bacon was illegal. People would riot for their bacon.

Exactly! I'm agnostic, but my main problem with a lot of organized religion is that they often want to impose their beliefs on others. You believe and live your life how you see fit. I'll do the same. That's it. That's all that needs to happen.

From what I've seen, he is one of the few religious folks who doesn't want religion in laws. He recognizes that legislating based on religion could be awful if a religion you don't follow gets the majority. He was against the bill requiring the posting of the 10 Commandments in TX.
