These so called cabinet meetings are nothing but regularly required sessions to show complete obeisance to trump. It’s nauseating to hear how these people debase themselves with their effusive flattery of dear leader’s imaginary accomplishments and give him unearned and underserved praise.

That’s what the three branches of the US government are supposed to do, place a check on abuses by the other branches. It’s called checks and balances.

What is concerning are the additional cognitive tests. Each test would be compared to the original one to determine how much the cognitive decline has progressed. We still don’t know why he had an MRI. They are routinely giving to assess amyloid plaques and tau tangles, markers for Alzheimer’s.

I have almost 25 years of teaching experience at secondary level ELA and undergraduate level Freshmen Comp. If we’re ever going to improve education we need to start treating students as the promise of the future that they are. We can’t afford to wait until they’re past the elementary level. 2/2

I agree. The problem begins in their earliest school year but since testing has been the single metric for student, teacher, school, and district “achievement and efficacy” since Bush instituted NCLB in 2002, students are treated like small cogs in a huge machine. No wonder they hate school. 1/2

His behavior is getting more extreme and more dangerous. There’s no legal basis for this just like there’s no legal basis for destroying small boats and the men in them with missiles.

As someone who lived through an oil spill, let me tell you: those are the ones that survived. And whatever is in that water is going into your water and your seafood, along with chemical dispersants—most of which cause it to ball up into tar and sink, where it kills more sea life on the ocean floor.
