5. As above, super helpfulness information from the staff but it was just information and no consultation. There was no mechanism to provide feedback on the project and while the staff listened patiently to my concerns they weren't taking notes or otherwise recording what other visitors were saying

4. They had to admit that the trade off for faster car time along SH1 will likely be slower public transport as buses get caught up for longer in traffic lights that are phased to prioritise SH1 (no arterial bus routes go along SH1). They city is being asked to prioritise cars over public transport

3. Considering the flash brochures, slick flyover videos and other info suggests the project is really far into its development (and the $ to date on planning) it's sad the first two points I raised are only in the initial thinking phase with no real commitments on them.

2.a Similarly no convincing answers as to how safety will be maintained when thousands of basin reserve visitors simultaneously exit the venue after a large event and how that number of people won't completely snarl the traffic during some of those peak Sat and Sun afternoon times

2. They've ’started' to talk with experts in cycling and walking about access to the basin reserve but have no clear answers as to how safety and easy access can be maintained on the north side when a low use single lane road becomes a high use three lane highway. No plans for over or underpass

1.a It's been amazing to see the revitalisation of native species in the town belt over recent years. The regular kākā are beautiful to see. I don't see them (but hear them) and worry about what happens to all the ruru and their nests.

1. The environmental impact on native birds and species when they tear up sections of the town belt.

They said they've 'started' conversations with experts about how to do relocation to minimise impact but zero guarantee they have the budget and obligation to carry it out to the standard needed.
