I imagine it will take three generations of people to both accept UBI and to not live in fear of one accident or bad turn of luck wiping out any and all prospect of a decent retirement.

Having been in the sitch where even Campbell's soup was too expensive, it's not even "poor people food" to me. I will always remember that experience.

I had the same thought! The trick is to eat them slowly enough that they last and quickly enough that they don't bond together and become mega-candy.

Nothing that goes up on walls to hold things onto walls seems to leave them unscathed, I've discovered. Those 3M velcro stickies also can pull off bits of wall.

Old cables, yep. And any new ones get the same treatment if they go into the storage bin.

I stuck mine in baggies, too, by type of cable. I was tired of the mess. Plus it's a fun way to use seasonal Ziploc gallon storage bags.
