Covered California premiums (what folks pay after subsidies) will DOUBLE on average for 2026–unless the feds extend the enhanced tax credits that folks have access to today. Some folks will go uninsured and even those who stay covered will be spending twice what they are now.

Scott amendment eliminating 90% matching rate for #Medicaid expansion is being described as just about changing federal financing. It's effectively repeal! Amendment language is nearly identical to that in a section labeled "Repeal of Medicaid Expansion" in the 2017 House-passed ACA repeal bill!
