So glad I came back to Isla Mujeres after taking a break last year to Puerto Vallarta. I have a lot of memories here and Isla will always hold a place in my heart.

It's my last day in Mexico. I have had such a relaxing week, and while I'm sad that it's almost over, I'm also happy to see my hubby and our 2 cats.

It's so nice to be back to one of my happiest places. I got to experience Dia de Los Muertos for the first time! It was fun to see kids trick-or-treating in the streets as well.

After a 1750 day streak on Duolingo, I deleted the app yesterday. I learned a ton of Spanish since 2019, but I didn't like how a lot of people lost their jobs because they wanted to use AI instead of real people.

I had a phone call with a friend that's been having a hard time lately. I hate talking on the phone (I have very bad social anxiety), but something told me to call him to let him know someone cares. I'm glad I did now. I needed to hear from him just as much. ❤️❤️

I just found out today that my 84 year old grandmother loves Nascar. I'm glad she's getting a little joy in her life, as she doesn't have much mobility, and she's pretty much bedridden in a nursing home. I think it's cute that she looks forward to the races.
