The Michigan Board of Education public comment has been ongoing with people coming out for and against the sex ed teaching standards. Only a couple have mentioned that parents are still able to opt their children out. A couple have made arguments that sex ed should be opt in.

The Michigan Board of Education is packed with people wanting to talk about the Health Education teaching standards and they just extended the time to beyond one hour and they are talking about reducing the time allowed to less than 3 minutes.

Looks like for the first quarter out Michigan state Rep. Sean McCann out-raised everyone in Michigan's 4th Congressional District. U.S. Rep. Bill Huizenga has the most money on-hand in the campaign fund, but McCann doubled his quarterly fundraising.
