Ouch... that bad, huh?

Yeah, you definitely don't want nail polish on your skin for too long 😭

Maybe uhh... wear finger caps or something while you're in private to remind you not to do it, at least until they're printable, and again...redirect to a fidget toy in the meantime?

I believe my bestie Kino uses a locally owned shop for prints.

It's not only faster but also cheaper since there's no shipping involved (paper is heavy!), and she's supporting a local small business. They always make sure it gets done right!

I wonder if there are any similar shops in your area? :o

They don't need to be long! Mine definitely weren't because I also had the picking issue.

If they're too small to do any "art", even just painting them a solid color will help, I think, to remind you not to pick them.

It will probably also help to redirect the urge to something like a fidget toy!

I had this problem a long time ago.

I ended up getting really into painting my nails, and doing art on them, so if I picked them off it would be a waste. I don't pick them anymore!

Nail art is hard!! But even just a simple gradient can be cute. The hardest part is letting them dry, I think....

Something that helped me a lot with things like doctors, especially when my anxiety was so bad I would cry on the phone, is knowing that they've probably dealt with worse.

Plus, remembering that if I saw someone struggling, I would never think less of them for it… I'd probably just try to help!

You'll do yourself a favor by eliminating your shame about a lot of things tbh!

Life's too short to let social pressure dictate what (harmless) things you're allowed to enjoy, or how you're allowed to feel!

A goal this year was to unlearn shame. I still struggle, but I'm better than I was before!

(Regarding Yuki:

They have to do some testing first to pin down the issue; they're going to get back to me later tonight.

They *think* it will be a simple antibiotics solution, and if so, I'll be able to cover it (barely lol), but if it's something more complicated… who knows.

We'll see 🥲)

Oh my god I'm so obsessed 😭💕

I totally would but I'm dead broke atm... maybe if I have some leftover depending on how much my vet bills end up being. But I'll share at least regardless!!

I hope you get all your needs taken care of soon ♡

What time? 👀
November 25, 2025 at 7:32 PM
Wait... there's a word for this?? Because same LOL

Especially really old heavy machinery like abandoned sawmills/factories, and also mineshafts. It all gives me inexplicable heebie-jeebies, much moreso than just "old stuff".

358 😭
Bro please no I can't take much more LOL

What I recommend beyond that mainly depends on your budget, but if you're just starting out, definitely don't throw too much money at it.

In other words, avoid Wacom LOL

XP Pen and Huion are both safe bets in my opinion!

If you want to run stuff by me I'm happy to help, too :3

Your PC will have much better specs than anything they try to cram into a drawing tablet while keeping the price low, so unless you NEED standalone, get a regular one first.

Personally, I think 16" is the ideal screen size for drawing, but my two art besties have used 13" for years without issue.

I haven't tried either of the standalone tablets, but I use an XP Pen Artist 16 (gen 2) and I really like it.

I've also heard great things about Huion, but I've never tried one personally so I can't comment.

Tbh I think if you have a PC, you're better off with a regular tablet than a standalone.
