At some point, there was a version of this video created internally for fun---I think Dan was teaching one of the rover driver's 3D modeling---where the RAT deploys to the rock, but on contact the whole rover starts spinning, and then a wheel flies off and bounces away. 😂

Dan was my roommate for a few days when we went to the Cape to see the launch of Spirit. (The launch was repeatedly delayed, and eventually I had to return home, so I didn't get to see it.)

Also trained on the papers we spent years writing at great personal and financial expense, and then also paid for the privilege of having "published" (hosted on a website behind a paywall). Only to create a half-bullshit summary of the words we agonized over. I want to kill it with knives and fire.
