Not the only holiday special narrator to be parodied as a character....Jimmy Durante was parodied after starring in Frosty the Snowman as Crispy, the mascot for Crispy Critters cereal, in 1987. And yes, he does say "Ah-cha-cha-cha!" when happy.

Yes, I am not kidding. They did a revamped Crispy Critters in the 90's, but only in a few select territories. Only Camille the Camel, Brian the Lion and Zippo the Hippo were on the box.

Capsule machine plush toys are a big trend. On one website I frequent, I discovered a few cute ones related to the Shugo Chara set. They're themed after specific things, like public bathrooms, doctor's offices and even babies.

This is Crispy from Crispy Critters cereal. He was a promotional plush by a company called Trudy which has unknown origins. Since he's an uncommon sight on eBay, I'm guessing he was a special giveaway. My guess is that it was a special offer from What's Hot For Kids magazine, which Post made.
