I wish Spike Lee hadn’t filmed The Original Kings of Comedy was filmed on actual film, and not digital video. Because then there would be a chance to remaster it. It looks like they shot this on VHS. Damn shame.

To be fair the US cover art isn’t specifically bad. But it’s like why did Capcom USA circa 2002 go with 3D character *models and a lot of brown when they had this incredible hand-drawn artwork? I bought the artbook (which literally sparkles) because I love the art so much.

Nothing like looking up a movie like Lady Vengeance or Stmpathy for Mr. Vengeance and seeing a bunch of BS options for things you don’t, won’t or can’t subscribe to.

The game wasn’t great, but Namco used the Nina Williams render I art directed (based off a Vogue pictorial) for their Japanese release of the game, so to me it’s super cool.

As a tourist in the Warhammer scene I found this starter kit quite endearing as it’s the rare thing that doesn’t cost a lung. I will never be the guy who buys thousands of dollars worth of this stuff — the figures cost them pennies to make — but it’ll be fun to mess around with this with my kids.
