I've been surprised with my range too tbh. If I remember right Old Town is pretty much a smooth decline in elevation from where I'm mostly at. Keep an eye out for my node(s), I'm going to keep my callsign on them: KC3WOT

Sounds cool. What's your radio/antenna look like? Good elevation?

I've got a stock Heltec v3 but planning to upgrade the antenna and find a site for it near Point Reno to get max line-of-sight benefits.

I’ll be back in DC soon and hoping to implement a little mesh in Ward 3. All of it’s pretty new to me so if you have any leads I’d love to know
