What a nerd. Urmston.
Wow, just when you thought you couldn't dislike that fake club any more, they cheat their way to a penalty #gtfc

Incredible defending #gtfc

Time for #gtfc to avenge the #facup 1939 semi final

Love a huge #FACup underdog shock*

*this does not apply at 5:45 #gtfc

No proof readers at the BBC website any more? Earlier, another headline talked of 'less new plays being written'.

Interesting tactic, advertising your film within an article about the worst films of 2025....

Hondermarck on the mark twice so far for Bromley. I think it was only 6 matches ago, at half time, #gfc were top of the live league table. They're a great side, but it's not quite happening. It's like watching the #Ashes

I absolutely can't bear the fucking thumbs-up emoji. It throws me into the sort of rage only seeing someone wearing flip-flops can.
I need to find a diplomatic way of asking people not to use it when replying to my messages without sounding like some irrational fruitloop.

This might be one of the worst portmanteau attempts I've ever seen.

Starc is amazing, but Scott Boland is terrifying. I've been watching Supernatural with the 16yo. Boland reminds me of the Golem character. #Supernatural #ashes

If AI is supposed to be so fantastic, and modern football is heavily based on data, then I fully expect managers to be replaced by AI in the next few years.

Of course, for years, fans at football matches have already been able to stream live data on players by watching the fucking match with their eyeballs.
Reading this article made me feel a bit sick. Apt, though, that this unwanted tech was trialled at a bogus stadium.
New technology a 'game changer' for stadium fans say experts - BBC News
Innovation developed with the University of Bristol will help enchance the experience for fans.

How long before supermarkets find a way of getting us customers to stack the shelves too, and dispense with their staff completely? It'd be even more profitable for the CEOs and shareholders!

Ronan Darcy of @chesterfieldfc.bsky.social more intent on shushing the #gtfc fans than celebrating with his team mates. Classy.

Hi @footballcliches.bsky.social
Fantastic stream-of-consciousness commentary in the Sunderland-Arsenal match just now, featuring banana skins being turned on their heads and a desire for big cushions, all in one sentence.

Sunshine Thuggery by The Siddleleys is on a loop in my head at the mo. What a delightful piece of jangly pop it is too.

A Three Thing Day by @benmoor.bsky.social is an utterly delightful show. Gentle and genuinely touching in places, and the craziest 100mph stream-of-consciousness brilliant word play in others. Loved it! Such a beautiful companion book too.

1982 must have been a great year for me. I only have to hear the opening chords of Pale Shelter by Tears For Fears and I get a huge rush of pure joy.
