Thank you thank you. You and Jocelyn have been supporting me for every step of my journey. I really appreciate it. I hope you two are doing well

I had a scare recently with my computer shitting itself. I am taking this to heart and I am going to back up /everything/ related to music and not even hesitate. I would've given up honestly, so I am gonna make sure I have my work backed up.

It's amazing. But one of the things that really blows me away is the music. It's genius. and some of the stuff that happens is small, but it's so clever.

And this is without touching that this aspect of autism is reported on through primarily a white lens. When you apply this to a non-white autistic person, the allowance and understanding for this behaviour goes completely out the window.

But let me not today.

Basically people have decided to avoid any form of self-improvement by using therapy-speak and thinking "Oh this is just who I am, it can't be helped"

Learning who you are as an individual - disability or not - means learning how you work so you can survive *this* existence, not some made up one.

It's also being used as a cover for often heinous behaviour, including harassment of others for not prescribing to a very specific set of virtues, for example.

Quite a lot of people aren't aware that this is what's happening, but there are a few who *do* know what they're doing, and it's not okay.
