Last week, I spent 42 hours writing and wrote nearly 55k words.

I also didn't empty the dishwasher even once, or take an extra focalin.

This week, I've written another 16k over 21 hours (plus editing)

Now I have to start working (editing for clients); I'm struggling to get back into it.

It's the holiday season, and we all know what that means! It's time to bust out the St. Thomas Episcopal Church cookbook and make the only recipe I've ever used out of it.
A recipe for "Bourbon Slush," taken from the St. Thomas Episcopal Church cookbook, "Candlelight Celebrations." Bourbon Slush (makes 13 cups) 2 cups boiling water 1 tea bag 1 (12-ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed 1 (12-ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed 2/3 cup sugar 6 cups water 1 to 2 cups bourbon -Combine boiling water and tea bag in bowl. Let steep for 5 minutes. Remove tea bag. -Combine tea, lemonade concentrate, orange juice concentrate, sugar, water and bourbon is large freezer container; mix well. Freeze until needed. Thaw slightly; pour punch into punch bowl.

Meet Jefferson Twilight, my inbox kitty!
Jefferson Twilight (a black, medium-haired adolescent cat) sitting on my desk in my inbox. He's been using it as a bed off and on since we brought him home from The Ark (a rescue shelter) in February (he was about 1.5 months old.) Since I work from home, the paper tray is more of a catch-all for various papers that I seldom use but don't want to throw away (thanks, ADHD)
