Once a Reverend of the Avocado kind. The General Secretary is dead, long live the General Secretary.
Some Palestine solidarity people hate Jews! It sucks but it is what it is. We can just tell them to fuck off and not have it change our evaluation of whether Israel is running a genocidal apartheid regime.

One reason Zohran is so good is that he really strongly limits his hostility towards the state of Israel and the oppressive regime it runs. He is genuinely interested in and committed to the safety of Jewish people.

My wife's chicken is also S-tier.

Do one with a traditional herbs de provence type brine, another with cajun spice or zataar.

We honestly just like doing chickens. One of the cool things is that you can flavor them differently.

From "oh the house elves all *like* this" to "here lies Dobby, a free elf" and the house elves mercing the evil wizards at the end is a real arc, and it's not necessarily that the house elves all really did like their captivity.

There's a lot that's fucked up about them, but I think there's a reading of the books where the changing politics is about the reader growing older and coming to understand how the world they live in is deeply fucked.

Yeah I think you gotta either smoke it or just go with other meats. My wife and I used to do multiple roast chickens instead, these days we'd probably do chicken and brisket.

I usually dislike Thanksgiving turkey because it's nearly always too dry, but like, smoked deli turkey rocks.

The taste is good, the issue is the moisture (or lack thereof). Brining can address that.

"we have six prongs, all of which amount to 'vibe check one two three'"
November 23, 2025 at 10:58 PM
No there isn't, those are the same thing.

A big protest outside Joel Osteen's church just has very different vibes than a protest outside a Black church, synagogue, mosque, gurdwara, etc

Severity of the misdeeds and also status of the congregation. I'm much more reticent about mass protests outside of religious congregations who have a history and present reality of facing violence than ones that don't.

Goal would be to get congregants to physically assault you
