my new snake Maki is so food motivated and hasn't been handled a lot before (i just got her and she is 3) so everytime i pick her up she tries to eat me. not BITE that's not even that species' top 3 defense mechanism she just fully assumes im a big rat for her

they are orange powder isopods which were my first ever isopod colony I had in like 2019. I missed having isopods since my last colonies crashed and I think they're going to help reduce the fucking enormous amount of waste these 150 snails are producing 😭
