You pull off the top of the AMS, and screw in the new sun heater. It’s very easy, and it works very well.

I just sold my X1C for the H2C. I had the sunlu heater for the AMS and it worked flawlessly. if the new AMS didn't have the heater, I would have switched it back and kept it.

Thank you
November 25, 2025 at 10:29 PM
Hey Bree, can you share a link to where you bought it?

You're the one making general statements about discarded trinkets. Got a solid cite for that? You cannot stop progress and it will continue. The only thing we can do is make it more environmentally safe.
November 20, 2025 at 1:23 PM
no, I said the filament mostly used is recyclable. That's a fact. I also mentioned the machine that re-spools filament from old parts and scrap. Nothing is going to stop people from buying a printer and creating crap.
November 20, 2025 at 1:21 PM
That is cool. I didnt mean to come off excusatory, apologies. Its very difficult to relay my feeling here with just type.
November 20, 2025 at 1:19 PM
Well, like I said somewhere in here, nothing you say is going to stop it. I say this to my guys, dont come to me with a problem unless you have thought long and hard for a solution. Just coming on here explaining a problem isn't going to solve it.
Don't get me wrong, I agree is a problem.

What country? I can find 3 in the UK. (flags in your bio)
November 20, 2025 at 1:12 PM
You had a 3d printer at 7? or is the age in your profile not updated?
November 20, 2025 at 1:10 PM
Its not new tech, there you are correct, but the personal use is much more now then it was in 08.
November 20, 2025 at 1:08 PM
making trinkets with that.
November 20, 2025 at 1:06 PM
Personally, I use my printers for more constructive uses. Nothing is going to stop the use of these printers, but instead of putting down the tech, maybe use your platform to inform HOW To recycle. You are going to get people who use ABS OR ASA, which is petroleum based, and they are are not /2
November 20, 2025 at 1:06 PM
Maybe lead with that. Eventually, any scraps or unwanted prints will be able to be made back into filament. I am waiting for this:

Any new tech is going to start with a problem ere or there. This will be solved. /1

its recyclable...

The typical user is using PLA to print said 'trinkets'. Look up PLA and what its made with....

wow, haven't seen this in years.

One of my co-workers said to tone down the accel. I set it from 5000mm/s to 3000mm/s and it did not fix. Watching it, I think if I kept lowering the accel, i'd be where I am now. Stealth mode is significantly slower, usually I can hear when it moves real fast while NOT laying down filament.
October 26, 2025 at 2:23 PM
I've had it for almost exactly a year and have over 1500 hours printing, and its been perfect until recently. I put it in stealth mode and so far, no issues. It is a machine so I expect issues but I also expect prusa to know their machines enough to troubleshoot. Well, at least I'm closer to fix
October 26, 2025 at 2:16 PM
YOU ROCK! I'm in the same boat now. Stealth mode is working - (knock wood)
If I or prusa figures it out, I'll hit you up.

Thanx bra
