Yup! Watching him on Christmas Vacation makes me wonder how he lived so long. He literally could have died several times just while hanging the lights. Not to mention all the other reckless behavior 🙂

Open til midnight! I remember when stores would stay open late like that. I have some specific memories of my mom taking me to Toys R Us or Children’s Palace during holiday hours. I don’t think it was ever as late as midnight but maybe 10ish. There was definitely something magical about it!

I am also a physical game guy and I make sure I keep an AirTag in my game case for this exact reason. It wouldn’t protect against theft but would definitely help with losing it!

I always thought that guy just looked like he had the kind of smoker’s breath you could smell from 10 feet away!

Love this year’s update, Simon! I’m seeing a weird glitch on macOS 26.1 where the lights on the dock disappear after the Mac has been idle for a while (overnight in my case). The only way to get them back is to restart the app. Happy to help you debug if needed!
