I feel similarly about collabs with even well-known clothing brands like Supreme. Those brands are already piss boring why would you want that shit on your toys?

You know the type, where the series has one author who’s passionate but not all that good but for one spin-off they get someone like a Peter David and suddenly it’s like “oh shit this is like a real book.”

For real man this shit is pure pulp splendor. It’s a 90’s OVA you forgot existed. It’s a D&D campaign run by the one friend you didn’t think had it in him. It’s that Actually Good One in a series of mediocre novels.

What a fuckin blast dude. Dan Trachtenberg out here reminding us that the Gen X nerd ethos can in fact be used to make something worthwhile.

Number 6, Orochi from King of Fighters 97. One of the better "god" bosses in KOF. I never liked his design that much, but I loved how he transforms at the start of the round. #neogeonov

Missed one! Number 3 then, Yuri Sakazaki from The King of Fighters 99. Yuri went from damsel in distress to ass kicker and I really like her in 99 especially.
