I've always enjoyed their singles, as well as the one time I saw them live.

I've heard people over the years criticize them for sounding derivative right before that same person mentions bands they like that are just as derivative. C'est la vie!

My 10th grade history teacher brought up the Paul Newman film The Verdict in class once and appeared to drop a spoiler about who won the case. I didn't watch the movie for years because I assumed I knew the ending. But he fake-spoilered it! When I saw it & the ending hit, it was truly a twist for me
