And in the first instance her Mum might be dead before April 2028 and she can breathe a sigh of relief.

Here’s his route to reelection!

View that a jury has evidence filtered so theoretically the case is determined on the relevant facts. Though theory and practice can wildly diverge.

True but that’s tomorrow’s problem and “something might turn up”.

I’m sure he’s got plenty of contenders for Justice Secretary who know a lot about crime.

They need the spending increases now so there’s any chance of something turns up and the later stuff I suspect is v largely there for now to meet the rules.

They’ve lost the plot.

It is just false to say that " We have become the destination of choice in Europe, clearly visible to every people smuggler and would-be illegal migrant across the world"

Opposition parties should write to the Permanent Secretary and National Statistician about this

Sadly they’ll learn all the wrong lessons or none from the absolute shellacking that’s coming their way.

Just about everyone hates Starmer and his government, at least on some level for something.
When are they going to wake up to reality.
November 15, 2025 at 10:08 PM
They’ve lost the plot and their tiny little minds.

And it was just “Kinder”.

I think the BBC should accept a peppercorn and costs. Seems fair for not wasting court time.

I see Trump is now talking about $5bn. Suspect he’ll be up to $1tn before he stops being a dick on this issue.

They’ve done too much apologising already. The program in its whole was fair, no one in the US saw it.

“Dear Sir, Fuck off”

So they get excluded from WH - there’s nothing ‘serious’ going on there.
November 15, 2025 at 8:52 PM
“Dear Sir, Fuck off” is suitably British.

Trump should be reminded that the BBC is publicly funded by individuals in the U.K. and does he really want to try and take money off them all.

Complete aside. Are you aware you’re at risk of the curse of @mrjamesob.bsky.social ?
Nearly reaching a daily mention!

Yes, drifting into PMs that are good IMV vs those good at PMing.
November 15, 2025 at 12:34 AM
Maybe that’s just my biases colouring the view.

Would a good PM have enabled the destruction wrought by Osborne, Lansley & Pickles?
In hindsight it’s also a shame he won the referendums he did.
November 15, 2025 at 12:30 AM
Cameron looked like a good PM and that was it, he just looked like a good PM.
November 15, 2025 at 12:20 AM
In hindsight the ‘betrayal’ of the left of the party without being a charismatic performer who was portrayed as a hereditary “Sir” was probably always going to struggle and everything good they’ve done has been under the radar as opposed to everything else.
