Host of smooth fm breakfast show in Melbourne, Australia. Big fan of great music, in whatever form it takes. A book lover, an ambitious cook and slightly too enthusiastic when it comes to wine!
Another one for your holiday reading list; The Ministry of Time. Is it SciRom or RomSci? Dunno, and the label doesn’t matter. A truly original book beautifully written.

See what years of research, Christ knows how much electricity and how many litres of AI can produce for you. Prompt was: ‘create an image of a late model Lancaster being attacked by a giant squid’! Clearly one of the great achievements of AI #AI #lancaster #WW2 #RAF #bombercommand #warbirds

Last 2 days Melbourne’ s draped in cloying fog and mist. By lunchtime today it was almost 30 degrees and then torrential rain! In the time it took to write this brilliant sunshine again!

Reading Charlotte Wood’s Stoneyard Devotional at Mum’s place in Albury, having travelled to Wangaratta for the funeral of a friend’s mother. The emotional intimacy of it’s stripped back prose is striking.

Me, either trying to change a doona cover or come to terms with American politics…sometimes both are just too hard to cope with!
