And honestly the win probability if success on 4th down conversion should also account for the probability of missing the game winner but still winning in overtime, making that even higher than the 38 yard field goal’s success probability

I’d agree but in this instance the win probability of the “go for it” scenario is equal to the success probability of the closer kick, because there are no other plays in between. A successful conversion automatically means a closer field goal attempt at the buzzer

You have to account for the chance GB can run a successful 30 yard drive in 40 seconds with no timeouts. Is it larger than the odds you get stuffed on 4th down? Who knows but it’s close enough where I like going for it

That calc makes no sense. 38 yard FG has a 91% probability of success but a closer FG that leaves no time for a comeback has a 89% win probability?

His shooting looks washed but his turnovers are fixable. About 5 times a game he tries some dumbass flashy pass into traffic for almost no reason. Easy fix is to stop that shit
