This was great! Really explained what it is about most modern movies that I dislike. Specifically, it’s about a loss of intentionality. Nobody’s making creative choices. Not with casting, makeup, wardrobe, lighting, shot composition, music, anything! It’s all just the blandest default settings.

I would nevertheless have to pass (not that she’s offering). The only time it’s ok to fuck a Nazi is if they trick you as part of a plot to find a map that leads them to the location of the holy grail. I hope she falls into a chasm full of dry ice.

Watching the first season was a perverse guilty pleasure. When Billy bob did his big monologue about how green energy is BS and the world runs on oil (never mind we could have transitioned decades ago if not for oil’s lobbying) I just rolled my eyes. Not sure I can stomach more, given everything.

In addition to the misogyny, It’s also blatant propaganda for big oil. Billy bob gives multiple minutes long soliloquies about how green energy is bullshit and the world really runs on oil. Meanwhile, Australia now produces so much solar energy they’re literally giving it away for free.

Brooklyn 99 is criminally underrated (pun intended). It had the bad fortune of coming out when streaming was the cool new thing and network shows weren’t getting much love. Also being a cop show during BLM was not a good look, even though they did their best to deal with it. Great show!

Does the average person despise AI as much or even half as much as the people here on Bluesky? Cuz it sure seems like something everybody hates to varying degrees. Except for the freaks who really love it and those who profit off it, is the general take on AI as negative as it seems? I hope so.
