The thing I love about Viticulture is I think that theme and the rules work so well together.

Also the expansion (Tuscany) is small and adds a fun couple of extra elements.

Hah, I didn't realize Erich Gamma was involved with VS Code (partly because I'm not a big Code user, and was always an IntelliJ over Eclipse kind of person). Gamma and Hejlsberg really are quite the pair that MS picked up all those years ago.

Great news, since I remember reading 2 or 3 years ago that SA had given up on test cricket because of money. Glad to hear that that was premature!

It's weird how quickly my inner monologue said "DI Burnside" to that photo, having not thought about the character in probably 30 years. Teenage brains, man. Wish I still had one of those.

The error message on SunOS/Solaris (I think) for failing reading an NFS share was "NFS server [name] not responding", and way back in the day (pre 2000) I came across a place that called their NFS servers after adverbs. E.g. "stubbornly" . Of course some clever person called one "probably" too. Fun.
