The page manager works in a similar way, so there's also that consistency between sections of the app which will be nice.

I'm still working on the position of the toggle as it's not working as you'll see from the screenshot.
But when you come into this page, you'll have the toggle at the top so it should be easier to see.

I think no matter where the option goes though there's a risk of someone forgetting to toggle it.

By forcing you to build manually afterwards, kinda enabled you to perform all the changes you wanted before then rolling it out.
Maybe it should have a toggle like we have on the page manager though so you can rebuild after template saves.

Yeah, it was intentional. Reasons for not having it initially was frustrations I had personally when building the thing out and I would need to make changes to a few templates and it would start rebuilding when i had more changes to make.
