That is some expert level pedantry!

We can safely assume that Saban would continue making Power rangers shows even after Britain was abandoned to rage zombies, though I am anxious to know how such a thing would impact international film and TV markets.

Agreed.

Freddie Francis was somehow both one of the greatest Cinematographer who ever lived and also, somehow, the guy who okayed the day-for-night shots in Evil of Frankenstein. Humans are complex!

No. My only V ancillary media experience was the tie-in novel V: East Coast Crisis.

Part of the ongoing trend in this digital era of creating weirdly stylised night scenes which look even less like actual night than those day-for-night in mid-60s Hammer films where they'd just place some blue cellophane over the lens.

My real 28YL pedantry is reserved for its timelines.

I remember loitering around Ardmore Studios when the sets for Space Truckers were being built and hearing the excited rumours form some that it was REALLY the new Alien sequel using a code name. I recall looking at the Space Diner set and thinking otherwise...

Ironside is amazing. I kinda wish we had gotten the J Michael Straczynski V TV series which would have focused on Ironside's Ham Tyler having scrapes in a world still struggling with the aftermath of that alien invasion.

Ah, just learning about that now.

There's a lot of the recent Peter Rabbit films and the earlier Peter Rabbit 3D animated series in the mix too.

Actually, yes.

Or that Duran Duran covers album where they murdered 9-1-1's a Joke.

I'm sure I'll catch it eventually. I'd definitely prefer a dramatisation of the recording of a regrettable album. Billy Idol's Cyberpunk, for example.

I love Springsteen's Nebraska but I'm pretty sure just listening to it again would be a better use of my time than watching that movie. It just looks like a slightly better mounted version of that awful fictionalised account of CBGB.
