I will use this boost to remind people to please prop up channels that are storing this sort of information. It may matter little to most, but it's as much a part of the game as everything else.

I follow them and unfortunately they do not have the footage I'm looking for. Specifically, I'm looking for quest footage and dialogue, which is very difficult to find.

If you know of a channel that has the earlier ones, please share it. I swear this footage feels like finding lost media.

Update: Obviously, no stream. Gonna do what I do in XIV and do small side quests and other dailies/weeklies off-stream. We'll get through it at my own pace.

I think they make the story of optional content to fit different play styles, like people who do X.0 do the side content, then go back to patches. It is rare that they make something required (think unlocking Bozja, 5.4 Eden, etc). They can't risk spoiling the story.

Well most of the time, side characters don't know you were there until you tell them ("What? You did all that?" sort of reaction) so I give them a pass. Only way around it is like Eden, making MSQ required to do the raid.
