Why is this even a possibility? Has this ever been done before? Someone is convicted on state charges in your state and you're thinking about releasing her to the feds, essentially giving her a get out of jail free card. It's absurd.

This doesn't seem to address the issue that files can't be released if an investigation is open or pending. He just requested an investigation into the Dems in the files, so doesn't that mean an investigation is underway?

No. He just asked for an investigation into Dems that are in the Epstein files. Now that there's an ongoing investigation, the files can't be released.

Plus you live in a state where the legislature brazenly overturned the will of the people following the passage of the 2018 initiative. If a court-ordered map gives the people of Salt Lake City votes that count, so be it.

OK, but in the meantime, until PR is in place everywhere, I think all bets are off and the mid-decade gerrymandering wars should continue. This comes from someone who worked hard along with many others to establish an independent commission in my state.
