Since the late 1990s, I've made it a point to round up some talented pals each November and play a gig at a local pub on Thanksgiving Eve. There have only been a few off-years, and those were work- or pandemic-related.

The Chicago forecast for Saturday, October 18 calls for a high of 72 degrees, which is not conducive to ICE. The Chicago forecast also calls for tens of thousands of protesters in Grant Park — also not conducive to ICE.
